What’s fascia and why does it matter?

One of the most useful courses I attended a few years ago was on fascia. Fascia is one continuous tissue that surrounds and holds every organ, blood vessel, bone, nerve fibre and muscle in place. With our neurological patients we often find certain areas of their fascia are tight, which restricts and hinders their movement. Our hands on approach helps loosen their fascia and helps them move better.
